Product overview

Heavy-duty tensile membrane fabric

1300GSM 1500D30X32 High Strength Membrane Structure PVC Coated Polyester Fabric is a premium architectural membrane engineered for large-span tensile structures. The material features a high-tenacity 1500 denier polyester base cloth with a dense 30x32 weave per square inch, providing exceptional tensile and tear strength. The total weight of 1300 grams per square meter ensures superior dimensional stability and load-bearing capacity. Both sides are coated with specialized PVC resin, incorporating UV stabilizers, anti-fungal agents, and flame retardant additives. The surface is finished with PVDF lacquer for self-cleaning properties and enhanced weather resistance. This fabric is designed for permanent and semi-permanent structures requiring high mechanical performance and long-term durability.

Core advantages

High tensile strength

1500D base with 30X32 weave. Breaking strength ≥ 4500/4200 N/5cm.

Dimensional stability

Low elongation under tension. Maintains structural integrity under wind and snow loads.

Weather resistance

UV stabilized with PVDF top coat. Resists moisture, mildew, and temperature extremes.

Self-cleaning

PVDF surface treatment reduces dirt adhesion. Rainwater washes away pollutants.

Installation & maintenance

Use calibrated tensioning equipment. Proper tension prevents water pooling and stress fractures. Compatible with HF and hot-air welding. Clean with pH-neutral detergents only. Store rolls horizontally in dry, ventilated conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the recommended tension for installation?

Recommended tension ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 kN/m depending on span length and load requirements. Calibrated tensioning equipment should be used to ensure uniform distribution across the membrane surface.

How does this compare to 900GSM membrane fabric?

1300GSM fabric offers significantly higher tensile strength, tear resistance, and dimensional stability. It is designed for larger spans and higher load requirements where 900GSM materials may not provide sufficient structural performance.

What is the expected service life?

With proper installation and maintenance, the fabric provides 15-20 years of service life. The PVDF top coat and UV stabilizers protect against degradation from sunlight and environmental exposure.

Can the fabric be welded onsite?

Yes. The material is compatible with high-frequency welding and hot-air welding techniques. Onsite welding is common for large-span installations. Weld strength should be tested to ensure it matches the base fabric tensile strength.
